Designing your interior to be timeless, sustainable, efficient and beautiful.

I have been in the residential design and interior design business for over 20 years, working alongside General Contractors, Architects, Artisans and Clients. My goal has always been to ensure that my clients are happy with the progression of my work and the end result.

“Lisa has created a lovely kitchen and two bathrooms for us. Her knowledge of products and ability to listen to our ideas was very impressive. Further, Lisa designed a mantle for us that has been a highlight for our living room. Lisa’s attention to detail is amazing. One of my vivid memories is of Lisa on the new shower floor rearranging the preset stones, because she didn’t like how some of the stones were arranged. Lisa is creative, energetic and a fun person with whom to work. ”

“Over the past three years, I have worked with Lisa Breashears redecorating two homes; one in Colorado and one in Florida. Each home had a distinct personality, style and “feel”. Lisa recognized that and worked with me to make sure we achieved the home I was looking for.

During this time, Lisa was aware of my budget, my tastes and my style. She worked hard finding the right furniture, accent pieces, art and paint. Lisa searched everywhere for the things we wanted, including second hand stores. When she found something she thought I might like, she always texted me the information and a photo to make sure I was on board.

Working with Breashears Designs was a wonderful experience. From the smallest project to a complete redesign – Lisa was always available, patient and understanding. I would highly recommend Breashears Designs to anyone; whether you are renovating, redecorating or just want to “spruce up” your home.”

“ Lisa Breashear is a unique designer. She brings an artist’s eye to every project, while never failing to take into account the client’s interests and preferences. For example, golf balls and putters were transformed into drawer pulls in my young son’s bathroom. My husband and I have a great appreciation of Lisa’s talents, as well as her ever constant positive energy.”

I had the privilege of working with Lisa on a new home project and simply cannot say enough about her consummate professionalism and exquisite eye! What’s most impressive is her way of integrating the customer’s taste and style choices into a holestic vision that results in a wonderul finished product that is refreshing and new, but also familiar and comfortable.

Her hands-on approach was so appreciated with our hectic work and travel schedule. We simply provided scope, budget inputs and style preferences and she simply took it from there. She identified options, guided us through the many choices, and then handled all the logistics so we didn’t have to. The results: outstanding.

We would not hesitate to recommend Lisa for a project of any style or size. She was a delight to work with, and the results were simply magnificent.

“When our home in Observatory Park was built in 2008, Lisa worked on all of the design aspects of the home. We found the house when it was being built as a spec, and in order to stay on schedule, we needed to make decisions very quickly. Lisa guided me effortlessly through options (faucets, hardware, lighting, paint choices,) led me in the areas where I wasn’t comfortable (choosing granite counters to work with various stone flooring choices I liked,) and made suggestions I would never have thought of (oil and vinegar shelves near the stove but not too close as to spoil the oil with the heat, pretty decorative elements for all of the bathroom tile.)

Lisa’s keen eye for design and color allows her to combine unexpected elements to create a truly one of a kind result that dazzles. She installed a gorgeous glass above counter bowl sink (really, a piece of art itself) in the powder room and then came up with the idea to do the counter in wood, creating a stunning artistic display. She combined modern wall sconces with rustic ones designed by artist in Mexico to create an interesting design element and perfect mood lighting. Instead of using standard tiles around my range, she commissioned a metal artist to design copper metallic tiles of vegetables to intersperse behind the range, and surprised me with a metallic Cucina Michele sign on the hood (I am a cooking teacher.) For the spectacular floating staircase the anchors the center of the open floor plan, Lisa designed a combination of horizontal railings and glass to showcase the design and not overwhelm the line of sight.

In short, nearly everyone who enters our home – both kids and adults alike – exclaims that it’s gorgeous, and I credit much of that to Lisa’s work. Ive always said, just pick out any cool design element in the house that you like and I am sure Lisa ha a hand in that choice. I’m sure other clients will love working with her as much as I did.”

“I am writing this letter to recommend Lisa Breashears as a superlative designer. Over the last 20 years I have used Breashears Design in a variety of ways in many homes I have owned and the outcome has been of highest quality and an excellent experience.

My first experience was with a new build of a mountain log home for my family. Lisa consulted with many details of this new build from the exterior to interior, including working with the floor plan, lighting, plumbing, flooring, kitchen and bath design including details of interior design of furniture, lighting, custom painting of walls and art. Lisa worked with the builder as well as with me as an owner to make this house a home.

I was so pleased with Breashears, I enlisted her work with our family beach house that we have owned for years. This entailed architectural suggestions in a remodel as well as interior design that suited our family lifestyle and the culture of sand and sea. This project was complex, remodeling an older structure and well within budget and scope of time.

Lisa has also worked with staging my beautiful home on the historic registry of 7th Avenue in old Denver that I owned for years and her work aided a sleek look that helped a timely and cost effective sale of my residence in Central Denver. She has a real knack for an elegant and timeless look that appeals to sellers. I received many compliments on my place as a result of her work.

Again I counted on Breashears Design to help with me with interior design on my current home in a downtown Denver contemporary condominium. The work with wall color, space, furniture choice and placement, carpeting, lighting and accessorizing have been fantastic.

Lisa has been consistent in her communication, attention to detail, fairness, budget adherence and incredible creativity in making a lifestyle of my family work with the space we live in be beautiful and comfortable. She helps you make a home, a real place of peace. I strongly recommend her and am available to speak to you about her work.”
